Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Canada is seeking a Light Duty Cleaner for the Guelph office with evening shifts after 5:00 pm. A valid Ontario driver’s license is required to operate a company vehicle for client visits.

Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, washroom cleaning, waste disposal, and sanitizing touchpoints. Candidates should be detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Communicate in English both written and verbally.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings.
• Works well independently and in a team environment.
• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle to scheduled client locations.
• Perform light cleaning: dusting, vacuuming, mopping.
• Clean washrooms and refill dispensers.
• Empty garbage and recycling.
• Wet clean horizontal surfaces and spot clean walls/glass.
• Sanitize high-touch points.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by supervisors.
• Establish positive rapport with clients when possible.
• Provide service that exceeds client expectations.
• Follow company safety and workplace policies.

Light Duty Cleaner Position available out of our Guelph office. Evenings starting after 5:00 pm.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Driving company provided vehicle to scheduled client locations.
• General dusting, vacuuming, mopping
• Cleaning of washrooms, refilling dispensers
• Emptying garbage and recycling
• Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces
• Spot Cleaning of walls and glass
• Sanitizing touchpoints
• Additional tasks as requested
• Establish positive rapport with clients when possible
• Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client
• Conduct all work in accordance with company safety and other workplace policies

WORKING CONDITIONS

There is a low risk of exposure to adverse working conditions. However, at this time with the COVID 19 Pandemic extra cleaning precautions are taken and required.

Compensation: $18.25 per hour
