Job summary

Germain Hotels group is seeking a part-time housekeeping team member for Alt Hotel Halifax Airport in Halifax, NS. You will help keep common areas clean, assist with room availability, and maintain a tidy, welcoming environment across floors.

Responsibilities include laundry, furniture handling, and responding to guest requests with care. Prior similar experience and a good physical condition are assets; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; asset.
• Experience in a similar position; asset.
• Good physical condition: stand long periods, lift up to 50 lb.
• Autonomy, proactive, able to manage priorities and be efficient.

Responsibilities

• Ensure housekeeping of common areas and document issues to be corrected.
• Participate in cleaning, handling, and room availability tasks.
• Perform layout and furnishing changes; disassemble/reassemble furniture.
• Gather laundry items and stock on all floors with bedding.
• Perform cleaning tasks for draperies, windows, balconies, carpets and floors.
• Respond to guest requests with care and contribute to guest experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
