Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP in Bathurst is seeking a cleaner to perform dusting, vacuuming, cleaning of all hard floors, washrooms and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points.

This full-time role includes replenishing toilet paper, soap and supplies, transporting garbage to bins, sweeping and mopping floors, disinfecting fixtures, adhering to health and safety regulations, and passing a criminal background check. Must lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.

Responsibilities

• Empty garbage containers and reline them, ensures washrooms are clean and in proper order
• Replenish supply of amenities such as toilet paper, paper towel, soap, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Transports garbage from drop points to garbage bins or compactor.
• Sweep, mop floors and dust furniture, vacuum carpets
• Disinfect and polish stainless stain fixtures and appliances in the washroom, door handles, walls and countertops.
• Participate in all training relevant and as required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.
• Report any damaged or broken utilities to the supervisor.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs
• Additional duties may be required from time to time.
