Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is hiring a part-time cleaner in Blackville Parish, New Brunswick. The cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in facilities, which includes dusting, vacuuming, emptying garbage containers, disinfecting surfaces, and replenishing supplies. Applicants must be able to lift 40 lbs and pass a Criminal Background Check. The role may require additional duties and participation in health and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Empty garbage containers and reline them, ensuring washrooms are clean and in proper order.
• Replenish supplies of amenities such as toilet paper, paper towel, soap, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Transport garbage from drop points to garbage bins or compactor.
• Sweep, mop floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpets.
• Disinfect and polish stainless steel fixtures and appliances in the washroom, door handles, walls, and countertops.
• Participate in all required training and adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.
• Report any damaged or broken utilities to the supervisor.
• Additional duties may be required from time to time.

General Description: A cleaner is generally responsible for cleaning work including dusting of offices, vacuuming, cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, washrooms, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin.
