Job summary

Teck Resources Limited, located in Trail, BC, is seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join Teck’s Trail Operations. You will operate mobile cranes up to 80 tonnes, perform rigging, and support maintenance tasks while adhering to safety standards.

Relocation assistance is offered within 100 km of Trail; candidates must reside nearby and have a valid 80-ton crane operator certificate (or journeyperson ticket) and a Class 3 license with air brake endorsement.

Qualifications

• Requires a Mobile Crane Operator Hydraulic 80 Tonnes and Under Certificate or Journeyperson Crane Operator Ticket (proof needed).
• Requires a Class 3 Drivers License with air brake endorsement; Class 1 is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
• Operate mobile cranes (up to 80 tonnes) to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials.
• Ability to perform minor to complex lifting of equipment with various types of rigging.
• Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranes.
• Ability to work within a flexible work environment with many trade disciplines.

Role Overview

Teck is looking for an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team at our Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes. Reporting to the Group Leader, Mobile and Lift.

Please note this role does require the successful candidate to live within 100KM of Trail, British, Columbia. Relocation assistance will be offered, however there is no camp or company housing.

Pay Range: $50.40 per hour

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
