Position: Lifeguard/Instructor
Location: Brandon's Community Sportsplex
Rate of Pay: $17.64 - $24.57 per hour (2026 Rates).
This competition will include an interview.
This position entails standard lifeguarding and instructing duties at Brandon’s Community Sportsplex. Successful incumbents will be required to provide instruction in the many pool programs offered at the facility. Lifeguard/Instructors are responsible for the general maintenance, care, and conditions of the pool area. Incumbents will work a variety of shifts during days, evenings, and weekends which may include split shifts.
PLEASE NOTE: If you do not currently hold all of the mandatory qualifications or they are not current, you may still apply for this position as long as you are enrolled in the proper courses/re‑certifications needed to meet the mandatory qualifications listed above and have these prior to starting employment. Preference will be given to applicants possessing all the mandatory certifications and one or more of the preferred qualifications listed above.
