Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Canada seeks a Life Enrichment Manager to create meaningful Life Skills experiences for residents living with memory loss, fostering purpose, familiarity, and dignity. You will develop individualized activities, engage residents daily, organize groups, and document participation to meet quality standards, while guiding staff and volunteers.

This role requires compassion, strong communication, and adaptability to cognitive needs, with a commitment to equal employment

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High School Diploma or GED; must be 18+.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation per quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability
• Experience leading group activities preferred
