Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA).Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills. Strong ability to work in a collaborative team demonstrating adaptability and flexibility from day to day. Proven critical thinking, decision-making and assessment skills. Physically able to perform all assigned tasks which may involve physical exertion not limited to climbing stairs, walking outside, lifting, pulling-pushing, stooping and carrying. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment. 1 year LPN experience in a long-term care/home care/acute care setting in the last 5 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

Supportive Pathways or any dementia related courses. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention. Palliative Care. Nail Care.
