Southern Health‑Santé Sud is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to apply the nursing process and support clients in Acute, Transitional, Personal Care Home, Primary Care, Oncology/Cancer Care, Public Health‑Healthy Living, and Home Care settings.
The LPN will practice to the full scope, engage in ongoing education, maintain competency, and exercise initiative and independent judgment while aligning with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) applies the nursing process to support clients, residents, and patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health within a people‑centered care approach across a range of settings, including Acute, Transitional, Personal Care Home (PCH), Primary Care, Oncology/Cancer Care, Public Health‑Healthy Living, and Home Care.
The LPN works to the full scope of practice, engages in ongoing education, and maintains competency in accordance with Southern Health‑Santé Sud policies, the Professional Standards of Practice, the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba, the Code of Ethics, and the Regulated Health Professions Act. The incumbent exercises appropriate initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, methods, and actions on unusual matters, consistently aligning with the mission, vision, and values of Southern Health‑Santé Sud.
