Alberta Health Services in Edmonton is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for a 0.50 FTE position in our fast-paced Emergency Department. You will provide bedside care, perform nursing processes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centred outcomes.
The role requires BCLS-HCP, CLHA registration, and completion of an accredited LPN program. You may work in different ED areas based on patient needs, with shift patterns including days, nights, weekends.

You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization.

Preferred candidates will have a minimum of one year of LPN experience in an Emergency Department, with additional preference given to those who have worked in a tertiary care setting or who have recent acute or critical care experience within the past two years. Candidates with at least two years of relevant medical surgical experience may also be considered.
