Northern Health – BC is seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to join the University Hospital of Northern BC in Prince George. You will provide practical nursing in the operating room as part of a surgical team, performing scrubbing and circulating duties across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the University Hospital of Northern BC.

In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the Licensed Practical Nurse, Operating Room, provides practical nursing services in an operating room environment as a member of an integrated surgical team performing varied surgical interventions. Consults, confers, and collaborates with other members of the surgical team in facilitating safe and effective surgical interventions through the performance of scrubbing and circulating duties in accordance with established standards and protocols. This includes pre-operative, operative, and post-operative activities such as assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting client care, and providing support to clients and their families.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work:

Evenings, Nights, 15:00 to 23:18, 23:00 to 07:18 (rotating).

There is an on call portion to this rotation.
