Northern Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Support Team Lead to supervise Home Support services at McBride & District Hospital. You will coordinate care plans, supervise staff, and promote safe, ethical patient care within an interprofessional team.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Support Team Lead practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outline by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. Coordinates Home Support Services by supervising Community Health Workers, overseeing the implementation of client care plans, providing training and evaluation of personal care techniques, provides advocacy services, and also functions as a member of the interprofessional team and applies best practice to provide competent, safe, and ethical care for people and their families in settings such as physician practices, homes, schools, and communities.
