Position Summary

Within a client and family-centered care model and in accordance with the Mission, Vision, Values, and strategic directions of Northern Health, the person promotes a safe, respectful, and civil working environment for patients, residents, families, visitors, and staff. Reporting to the Manager or designate, and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the LPN Coordinator provides first-line supervision to LPN nursing staff and unregulated care staff. They also provide nursing care to an assigned group of residents/patients/clients according to established policies, procedures, and the Standards of Practice for the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). The LPN Coordinator coordinates the work of the staff on the unit(s), including making and adjusting work assignments, providing work direction, scheduling, monitoring, and following up to ensure care outcomes are achieved and staff performance is evaluated.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 07:30 to 15:30
