Job summary

Baptist Housing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for The Heights at Mt. View in Victoria, BC.

This part-time and casual position involves providing compassionate, person-centered care to residents in a long-term care community, collaborating with RNs and the care team, and maintaining accurate documentation in a supportive environment. You will administer medications, monitor safety, and contribute to care plan implementation while upholding clinical standards and resident wellness.

Qualifications

• LPN diploma with current BCCNM registration.
• Experience in long-term, complex, or assisted living care preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (e.g., Point Click Care).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, person-centered nursing care to residents.

Requirements

Available Lines

We offer a range of LPN opportunities at Heights at Mount View, including permanent, temporary, and casual roles. Flexible scheduling options are available, including shorter shifts, with a mix of day and evening schedules to suit your availability.

*There are currently various Part-time and Casual opportunities available.

Compensation & Benefits

Under the Master Collective Agreement, you'll enjoy competitive wages, extended health and dental coverage, a municipal pension plan, vacation allowances, an employee assistance program, and professional development opportunities. Level 1 LPNs are compensated at an hourly rate of $32.84 to $41.35 according to the BCNU wage grid.
