Job summary

Global Healthcare Solutions in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our home care team.

You will provide client care and services while leading other members of the healthcare team, apply dressings and treatments, take and record vital signs, and administer medications. Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Current Registration with the CLPNNL or eligible for registration
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Physical Assessment, Palliative/Hospice care experience preferred
• Experience in a senior living environment and/or long-term care preferred
• Alzheimer’s or dementia care experience considered an asset

Our client is a private home care centre located in the heart of St. John’s, Newfoundland and is currently seeking

experiencedLicensed Practical Nurse (LPNs)to join our care team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide exemplary

client care and services while leading other members of the healthcare team to do the same. Apply dressings and treatments

Requirements

2-3 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse

Current Registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CLPNNL) or eligible for

the LPN registration with CLPNNL

Physical Assessment, Palliative/ Hospice Care experience preferred.

Previous experience working in a senior’s independent living environment and/or long-term care preferred.

Alzheimer’s and/ or other Dementia Care experience are considered an asset.

Current First Aid and CPR certification.
