We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a role with a primary focus on administrative responsibilities and care coordination. This position leverages nursing knowledge to support patient communication, documentation, and coordination of care, while involving limited direct clinical or procedural duties.

Duties:
  • Act as a key point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, timelines, and next steps
  • Coordinate patient care between physicians, laboratory, nursing, and patient care teams
  • Provide clear, consistent patient education related to fertility treatments and scheduling
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient interactions and care plansChart and review patient information using Netcare and internal systems
  • Ensure patient records meet clinic, regulatory, and confidentiality requirements
  • Attending meetings and documenting action items
  • Assisting with quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
  • Uphold strict confidentiality standards for patient and clinic information
  • Apply clinical knowledge to support care coordination and patient education
  • Perform clinical patient care activities as required
Requirements:
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registration in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting; fertility or women’s health experience is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Netcare and electronic medical record charting
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
  • Phlebotomy certification or willingness to complete training
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification and up-to-date immunizations
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment
