Job Description

The nurse operates within the competency guidelines and full scope of practice as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, adhering to agency policies, standards, and unit protocols.

Qualifications

Education, Training, and Experience

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
• MHSU positions require additional education as outlined by BCCNM for practice involving Mental Health and/or Substance Use disorders.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with residents, families, co-workers, the multidisciplinary team, and the public.
