AgeCare SkyPointe in Calgary is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. You will report to the Director of Care and contribute to high‑quality resident care in a supportive, home‑like community.

Formación

• Current LPN license in good standing in the applicable province.
• 3+ years of experience in seniors’ health.
• Current CPR training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Work as part of an inter‑professional team following the Professional Practice Model and person‑centered care.
• Complete and maintain resident care assessments, care/service plans and documentation with accuracy.
• Implement and evaluate care/service plans and adjust as needed.
• Assist with scheduling resident care conferences and participate in conferences as required.
• Collaborate with the Director of Care to support move‑in, move‑out and transfers.
• Provide direct resident care and administer medications/treatments per regulatory standards and policies.

AgeCare is seeking an experienced and dynamic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Care, this role presents a remarkable opportunity for YOU to make a significant impact on the lives of our residents and their families.

What You Will Do

• Work as a member of the inter‑professional team as described by our Professional Practice Model applying the person‑centered approach to care.
• Complete and ensure resident's clinical care assessments, care/service plans and documentation are accurate, up to date and changes communicated as required.
• Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care/service plans and make changes as required.
• Assist with scheduling of resident's care conferences and participate in conferences where applicable.
• Work closely with the Director of Care to facilitate resident's move in, move out and transfers.
• Provide direct resident care and medication/ treatment administration and document care in compliance with regulatory and Resident Care standards and policies and procedures.

What You Bring

• Practical Nurse Diploma.
• Current registration and membership in good standing in applicable Province.
• 3+ years of experience with seniors’ health.
• Current CPR training.
• Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft office applications.
• Demonstrates leadership, coaching and mentorship skills.
