Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Whitecourt is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the OR/Acute Care team on a part-time, temporary basis. You will provide safe, patient- and family-centred care under the guidance of the interprofessional team, following nursing processes and applicable standards.

The role requires an accredited LPN program, CLHA registration, BCLS-HCP, with periop training an asset; on-call availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the CLHA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.

Additional Required Qualifications:

• Recovery Room or backfill if not Periop trained.
• Must be available for scheduled on call including evenings, weekends and holidays.
