Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Manning is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Aurora Place Daily Supported Living Unit B team. This 1.0 FTE position offers a competitive hourly rate and includes a remote retention allowance up to $3,000 per year.

You will provide safe, patient- and family-centred care under provincial standards, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, and collaboration with an interprofessional team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the CLHA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, ALA currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization.

Required Qualifications:
