Your Opportunity:

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently offers a Northern Allowance of up to $6,300 annually. This allowance is non-pensionable, payable hourly for all hours at the basic rate. Employees working above the 57th parallel for over a year are eligible for an annual reimbursement of personal travel expenses up to $1,235, covering one round trip per year within Alberta from a community above the 57th parallel.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Guided by your education, experience, and AHS policies, you will provide safe, quality, patient and family-centered care reflecting AHS's shared vision and values.
