Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for Misericordia Community Hospital in Edmonton. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team delivering holistic patient care in the 7 West Medicine MCH unit. The position is Regular Part Time with a 0.80 FTE and shifts across days, evenings, weekends.

Requirements include graduation from a Practical Nursing program, active CLHA registration, and Basic Life Support Level C. Security checks are required before start.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating in the delivery of holistic care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN practices to full scope, applying professional nursing knowledge, clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills to support safe care and positive health outcomes. Required Qualifications:

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months of full-time equivalent acute medicine experience within the past two years or a completed final preceptorship on a Medicine unit within the last year.
