Description:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be part of an interprofessional healthcare team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level, and AHS policies and procedures. Your role is vital in providing safe, quality, patient- and family-centered care, reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.

Position Details:

• Classification: Licensed Practical Nurse
• Union: AUPE AUX
• Unit and Program: Home Care
• Primary Location: Cold Lake Community Health Service
• Employee Class: Casual/Relief
• Hours per Shift: 7.75
• Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, On Call
• Salary Range: $27.58 - $36.13
• Vehicle Requirement: Driver's License, Vehicle Required

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
