Responsibilities

• Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners.
• Ensure prescriptions are complete and authentic.
• Provide injections/vaccinations as permitted by regulations.
• Transfer prescriptions to and from other pharmacies.
• Ensure accuracy of prepared prescriptions and finalize checks.
• Verify accuracy of drug and patient health information in records.
