Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support our national pharmacy team across banners in Canada. The role involves preparing, processing and inspecting prescriptions with a focus on patient safety and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process and compound prescriptions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners and ensure accuracy.
• Transfer prescriptions between pharmacies and verify drug and patient information in records.
• Conduct final checks of prepared prescriptions and provide injections/vaccinations as allowed by regulations.
