The Licensed Optician delivers the brand value proposition and helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs. Creates exceptional value in the lives of customers by delivering legendary customer service and high-quality eyewear that exceeds expectations.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
• Act as a leader in optical knowledge
• Take and record measurements; adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail
• Assist with complex product needs and prescriptions
• Use technology accurately and efficiently under time pressure
• Explore root causes of issues; ensure customer satisfaction
• Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Achieve results on KPIs and competencies
• Maintain store appearance and organization
• Report safety concerns and demonstrate safe work practices
• Be resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to learning and improvement
• Adhere to company policies regarding discounts, promotions, and inventory

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• State Licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and fashion trends
• Basic math skills; familiarity with POS systems and technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail and customer service experience
