LensCrafters in Oshawa, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver brand value and exceptional eyewear service. You will help customers with precise measurements, frame selection and lens prescriptions.

This full‑time role requires optical dispensing experience, strong customer service and comfortable use of iPad/tablet POS systems. You will contribute to a high‑quality, organized store and meet brand KPIs.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure required.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills and team orientation.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and fashion trends.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Willingness to use an iPad/tablet and adapt to new tech.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, set expectations and assist with frame selection.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions precisely in lenses.
• Record measurements and ensure eyewear meets standards.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Maintain store appearance and assist with inventory and promotions.
• Operate POS/tablet systems accurately and efficiently.
