Tasks

1. Analyze the client's eyeglasses or contact lenses and measure eye curvature, pupillary distance, and bridge width using optical measuring devices.
2. Obtain specifications for eyeglasses and contact lenses from prescriptions prepared by ophthalmologists or optometrists.
3. Assist clients in selecting eyeglasses.
4. Advise on the use and care of contact lenses.
5. Adjust finished eyeglasses to fit the client.
