Job summary

ACX Auto Services, part of AutoCanada, is hiring a Mechanical Technician to join our Scarborough, ON team. You’ll work with modern tools and calibration equipment, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform OEM-aligned repairs in a fast-growing shop environment.

You will participate in multi-point inspections, document RO history, and ensure safety and quality standards while collaborating with a professional team in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Licensed Automotive Service Technician (Journeyman/Red Seal) or Experienced Apprentice.
• Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training courses.
• Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes and adherence to processes.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review damage reports, prepare repair cost estimates, and plan work.
• Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic capabilities and calibration/diagnostics experience is a plus.
• Inspect repaired vehicles for proper completion and paint quality.
• Document all work in the repair order and ensure warranty pay is provided by the manufacturer.
