Job summary

AutoCanada's ACX Whitby division seeks a skilled Repair Technician to restore vehicles damaged in accidents. You will inspect, remove and replace parts, refinish surfaces and ensure repairs meet safety standards using OEM procedures.

The role emphasizes frame work capability, and the candidate should have related post-secondary training, knowledge of repair/refinishing processes, and a valid driver's license. Red Seal and I-CAR assets are valued.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset.
• Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training courses.
• Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes.
• Ability to use selected vendor materials cost-effectively.
• I-CAR certification training would be considered an asset.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Review damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates and plan work.
• Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Mask and tape, prime and paint surfaces using spray guns and sanders.
• Inspect repaired vehicles for completion, dimensional accuracy and paint quality.
