Seaboard Transport Group is seeking Licensed Mechanics to join our Dartmouth, NS team. You will perform maintenance and repairs to safety standards, participate in safety meetings, and work with a close-knit team in a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification required or equivalent.
• Experience as a B620 inspector is an asset.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
• Stay up to date with work-related training and development opportunities.
