Job summary

Highline Mushrooms is seeking an HVAC Technician for a permanent, full-time position at our Leamington, Ontario facility. You will install, maintain, and repair ventilation, air conditioning and heating systems, and perform preventive maintenance on all units.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of HVAC experience and hold required licenses. The role emphasizes safety, problem-solving, and the ability to work after hours if needed. Competitive hourly pay reflects experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an HVAC Technician.
• Required Licenses: 313A HVAC/Refrigeration Technician, G.2 license and ODP certificate
• Thorough Knowledge of HVAC Systems & Methods
• Knowledge of HVAC Safety Standards and Protocols
• Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting Skills
• Willingness to Continue Learning About HVAC Technologies
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
• Working knowledge of boiler systems.
• Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs ventilation, air conditioning and heating systems, including all related equipment
• Performs preventative maintenance on all units
• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
• Keeps accurate records and maintenance logs
• Troubleshoots system issues
• Oversees and assists with mechanical projects as assigned
• Performs emergency repairs and responds to call-in requests
• Maintains up to date knowledge of HVAC systems and processes
• Complies with OHSA and industry service standards
• When directed, assist in other maintenance repairs within the farm
• Able to come in after hour call-ins
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned as required.

• Wage is assessed based on a combination of qualifications and experience.
