Job summary

Limcan Certified, a division of RT Holdings Inc (Right Time Heating and Air Conditioning), is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician in Whitby, Ontario. The position requires 3+ years of HVAC experience across furnaces, central and ductless air conditioning systems, gas boilers, and water heaters (tankless).

You must hold a Residential Air Conditioning License, have a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and a clear criminal background.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years HVAC experience including furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, water heaters (tankless)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure HVAC equipment meets Technical Standards & Safety Authority codes and municipal building codes.
  • Follow Energy Star installation processes and educate customers on proper care and maintenance.
  • Complete general and specific HVAC equipment inspections and maintain a clean, stocked vehicle.
  • Promote products and services on every call and provide a five-star customer experience.
  • Request online reviews from customers and uphold health and safety standards.

What we are looking for
  • A minimum of 3 years recent HVAC experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, water heaters including tankless heaters
  • Residential Air Conditioning License (Journeyman or RedSeal)
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
  • Clear criminal record
  • Must have demonstrated strong technical, customer service skills and company metrics in current and previous roles.
  • Must be effective at HVAC lead generation and CPP enrolments.
  • Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder
  • An accountable and responsible personality, delivering high customer satisfaction and has a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, completing the installation and commissioning of HVAC elements
What will you do
  • Ensure customers heating, ventilation, and air‑condition equipment meets or exceeds the Technical Standards & Safety Authority’s codes and municipal building codes and standards.
  • Follow all Energy Star installation processes and procedures.
  • Educate customers on proper care and maintenance and promote all various HVAC options
  • Complete general and specific HVAC equipment inspections
  • Maintain a clean, fully stocked vehicle
  • Promote our products and services on every call
  • Provide a five‑star experience on every call or make it right before leaving the customers home
  • Feel comfortable requesting online reviews from customers.
  • Contribute to our high standards of health and safety
