Job Description

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

• Compensation: $50.72 per hour for Heavy Equipment 421A

Primary responsibilities include supporting maintenance activities in the shop, such as:

• Diagnosing and repairing equipment failures/issues
• Performing services like changing fluids, filters, etc.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Assisting in general site-related maintenance activities

Responsibilities

• Experience in repairing large, off-road, construction-type equipment in an industrial environment.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete repairs on heavy off-road equipment such as loaders, material handlers, trucks, and cranes.
• Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, and electronics is preferred.
• Welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, schematics, and specifications to perform repairs and modifications according to OEM standards.
