DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components on truck and coach systems, including (but not limited to) electrical and electronic systems, steering and suspension assemblies, engine and drive trains, emission controls and exhaust, HVAC systems, fuel systems, and brakes, using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment.
  • Review work orders and discuss work needed / completed with Management.
  • Test systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults.
  • Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups.
  • Update and maintain work orders and vehicle records.
  • Test drive and inspect vehicle in operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed Truck and Coach Technician (310T), special consideration will be given to candidates with motor coach experience.
  • Experience in the motor coach and / or trucking industry.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with acceptable driving record for past three years required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, supervisors.
  • Own tools and equipment to function in this role.

Pay : $35.00-$40.00 per hour
