Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. in Oshawa, ON is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician I to diagnose, overhaul, adjust and repair trailers and trucks. This role requires a licensed technician and the ability to work with little supervision to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tractor-trailer maintenance experience.
• Must hold provincial license such as Red Seal/310T.
• Must maintain government agency registrations.
• Current driver's license class D or 3 with air brake cert or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair order.
• Maintain work area appearance and safety.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or verify operation.
• Use hand and power tools as required.
• Inspect brake systems, steering, bearings, and other critical parts.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and lubrication.
