Job summary

Penske Oshawa location is seeking an experienced, licensed technician to diagnose, repair and maintain truck and trailer equipment. The role offers modern facilities, strong training and career development opportunities.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on tractor-trailer maintenance, Red Seal/310T or equivalent, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Competitive pay includes shift premiums and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years practical tractor-trailer maintenance experience.
• Active Provincial license (Red Seal/310T) and government registration.
• Class D or 3 with air brake certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair orders.
• Inspect brakes, steering, bearings and other key components.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Operate tools and equipment with minimal supervision.
