Job summary

Corus Orthodontists in British Columbia invites applications for a Licensed Dental Assistant to join Viva Orthodontics in New Westminster and South Surrey. You'll support orthodontists, manage chair-side care, and help deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Must hold current licensing/registration to practice as a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) in BC.
• Orthodontics Module completed as part of credentialing.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong infection prevention and sterilization practices are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Orthodontist with all stages of orthodontic procedures such as direct bond brackets, arch wires, and aligner appointments.
• Provide all aspects of clinical patient care in a professional, efficient, and caring manner.
• Perform sterilization procedures, set up operatories, take x-rays, photos, and intraoral scans.
• Build positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers to keep treatment on schedule.
• Enter detailed chart/record notations in the practice management system.
• Provide reports to parents/guardians.
• Perform other duties as required for efficient operation of the practice.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Enter detailed chart/record notations in the practice management system

• Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice
