Job summary

Tuscany Dental Centre in Canada is hiring a Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists in a fast-paced practice. You will prepare rooms, assist during treatments, take X-rays, ensure IPAC standards, and educate patients on oral care.

You will also help with scheduling and patient flow, while upholding privacy and safety guidelines. Applicants must be registered or certified with a provincial body, with prior dental assisting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Your Role:

The wage range is from $32 to $38 per hour, reflective of experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate’s work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

About You:

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
