Rush Truck Centres of Canada is seeking a 310B Licensed Body Shop Technician to repair or replace damaged body parts back to pre-accident condition with factory and dealership specifications. This is a full-time, day shift position, Monday to Friday.

You will work with a team or independently, follow OHSA regulations, maintain a clean and safe work area, and use PPE. Qualifications include a high school diploma and 2 years in a bodyshop environment, plus a Criminal Record Check and Driver's

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of experience preferred in a Bodyshop environment.
• Experience with repairing and replacing damaged body parts.
• Ability to work with a team and/or independently and follow instructions.

• Repairs to fibreglass hoods, fenders and other truck components.

• Grinds, files, sands, welds and refinishes surfaces.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area, tools and equipment.
• Complies with PPE usage.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the 310B Licensed Body Shop Technician is responsible for repairing or replacing damaged body parts back to Pre-Accident Condition with factory and dealership specifications to meet or exceed the original factory fit and finish. This is a full-time, day shift position, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Removes and replaces interiors, trims and accessories to gain access to damaged areas.
• Repairs to fibreglass hoods, fenders and other transport truck components.
• Removes dents and repairs damaged surfaces or replaces damaged parts.
• Works with body fillers, glazes, primers and other painting materials.
• Grinds, files, sands, welds and refinishes surfaces.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area, tools, and equipment.
• Complies with using proper use of PPE.
• Other mechanical repair work as required.

Basic Qualifications

• 2 years of experience preferred in a Bodyshop environment
• Experience with repairing and replacing damaged body parts
• Work with a team and/or independently and follow instructions.
• High school diploma
• Criminal Record Check
• Driver's Abstract

Work Conditions

• Physical ability to lift up to 50lb.
• Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
• Overtime as required.
• Hazards associated with the trade.
• Exposure to loud noises.
• Work both indoors and outdoors.
