Job description
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify structural, mechanical, electrical, and or cosmetic issues.
  • Use diagnostic tools, equipment, and technical manuals to accurately pinpoint problems and execute effective repairs.
  • Complete structural and cosmetic repairs, including body and framework, panel replacement, bumpers, suspension systems, brakes, exhaust systems, occupant restraint systems, and heating/cooling systems.
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed for body, frame, or component repairs.
  • Collaborate closely with estimators, painters, and fellow technicians to ensure workflow efficiency and quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Document all work performed using shop software (body shop connect) and maintain accurate repair records.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions to ensure vehicle safety, performance, and appearance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Foster a positive team atmosphere of knowledge sharing, assisting colleagues, and communicating effectively to prioritize tasks.
