Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician
• 310S Mechanic License in good standing
• Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract
• ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
• strong attention to detail, organized and strategic

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and identify vehicle repair and/or malfunction
• Perform vehicle repair or maintenance efficiently and accurately per guidelines
• Inspect engine in operation and road test motor vehicle with diagnostic/testing devices
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
• Document all vehicle repair and maintenance on the repair order
• Road test vehicles as required

Post Secondary School diploma or equivalent
