Qualifications

Reporting to the Service Manager, as a qualified technician, you are capable of diagnosing problems and carrying out repairs in several areas or all areas. You may specialize in specific repair areas. As a team member, you contribute to the overall success of the department, ensuring quality of work, service standards, and CSI results.

Service Technician: Monday to Friday 7:45 am to 5:00 pm with rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership policies and procedures.
  2. Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  4. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional services needed.
  5. Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
  6. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  1. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  2. At least 3 years of Service Technician experience.
  3. Qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  4. Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
  5. Ambitious, hardworking, and a team player.
  6. Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mindset.
  7. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and learn new technologies and procedures.
  8. Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
