Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience as a structural repair technician.
  • Hold a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license "S" (must remain valid at all times during employment).

  • Inspect, evaluate, repair, modify, and weld metal and/or composite aircraft parts according to airworthiness standards, in accordance with applicable company maintenance control manuals and Transport Canada regulations.
  • Order necessary parts and ensure follow-up with the Technical Purchasing team.
  • Work closely with aircraft maintenance technicians to keep all aircraft systems operational.
  • Establish for the maintenance of all parts and structures handled all documentation required by the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR), the Maintenance Control Manual (MCM), and the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM) of the company.
  • Recommend for certification or certify by signing a maintenance release the completion of the work and the fact that the work on the aircraft structure has been carried out in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
