Aerotek is hiring a Licensed 309A Electrician for contract-to-hire work in Kitchener, Ontario. The role covers both construction and service tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Expect hands-on installation, safety compliance, and mentoring apprentices.

The position requires 3+ years of relevant experience, blueprints literacy, and the ability to work independently on-site, with travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid 309A Electrician license and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with PVC, EMT conduit installation and electrical fixture installation.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Experience with both construction and service work.
• Strong safety compliance and independent work capability.
• Ability to mentor apprentices.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Perform construction and service work and troubleshoot issues on site.
• Read blueprints and project drawings to plan installations.
• Use tablets/iPads to access drawings and documentation.
• Train and mentor apprentices and ensure safety protocols.
• Travel between sites as required.
