Job summary

Spark Power is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our Cambridge team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial, commercial and institutional settings, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will work on projects from installation to commissioning, ensuring standards are met and client needs are satisfied. The position requires a valid 309A Electrician license, 5 years of electrical experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment and components in various settings.
  • Install conduit and wire, terminate conductors.
  • Troubleshoot circuitry and replace damaged components on industrial equipment and systems.
  • Install fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systems.
  • Order required parts and manage materials using the company computer system.
  • Complete work orders per client specifications and review with the customer for satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean work area and demonstrate commitment to safety.
  • Proactively prepare for upcoming work.
  • Interact with colleagues across levels within the company.

As an Electrician, you will be part of our team responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various industrial, commercial and/or institutional settings. What will you do as an Electrician at Spark Power?
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment and components in various settings
  • Installing conduit and wire, terminating conductors

  • Completing work orders as per client specifications and input; reviewing the completed job with the customer, to ensure complete satisfaction

  • Proactively preparing for upcoming work
  • Interacting with various individuals at different levels within the company

  • A valid 309A Electrician License
  • Availability for on-call work as required-company vehicle provided
  • 5 years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in an industrial and/or commercial setting
  • A valid class driver’s license with a clean driving record
