The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is seeking a Library Technician for Metcalfe Public School. The 50% regular, part-time role involves organizing, maintaining and circulating library materials, providing reference services and supporting units of study.
Qualifications include a Library Technician diploma with 1–2 years of library experience, cataloguing knowledge, strong research skills and proficiency with library software. English/French ability is an asset.

Salary Rate: $27.22 to $33.67 per hour (Level 5)
Effective: October 1, 2026
Under the direction of the Principal or designate, the Library Technician will provide technical and public services and perform other duties related to library operations such as organize, maintain, select, order, circulate print and non-print materials, provide reference services, research and prepare support materials for units of study, and perform public relations, supervisory and clerical activities.
