Job summary

Jim Pattison Subaru Northshore, part of the Jim Pattison Auto Group, seeks a Level 4 Automotive Apprentice Technician. You will work with experienced technicians in a busy dealership, diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing Subaru vehicles while developing your skills for progression to a Red Seal Automotive Technician.

You will report to the Service Manager and collaborate with Service Advisors, Parts, and the broader service team to deliver quality work and maintain a safe, organized shop

Qualifications

This role requires completion or in-progress Level 4 Automotive Apprenticeship.
Experience in automotive repair is preferred.
Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair Subaru vehicles following manufacturer procedures.
Complete maintenance services, inspections, and repairs with accuracy.
Identify mechanical and electrical concerns and communicate solutions to the Service team.
Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide updates and timelines.
Perform road tests, quality checks, and pre-delivery inspections.
