Job summary

Genesis Maple, part of Zanchin Automotive Group, seeks an experienced Service Advisor to handle frontline customer communications and service for the department. You will sell maintenance, liaise with technicians, and explain costs to clients.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in sales/customer service in an automotive setting, with ERP and CRM proficiency, and strong communication skills. Growth opportunities and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years in Service Advisor or sales/customer service role; automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Secondary School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (CDK/Reynolds) and CRM platforms.
• Ability to sell vehicle maintenance services and maintain client confidentiality.
• Strong communication, organization, and deadline-oriented skills.
• Self-motivated, detailed, and able to work with minimal supervision.

The expectedsalary or pay rate for this role starts from $50,000.00 per year, based on performance and variable pay.

About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the "we can do that" operation, this position is responsible to provide frontline customer communications and service for the department. Specifically:

• sell recommended and required vehicle repair/maintenance
• serve as the liaison between the customer and automotive service technician
• explain nature of vehicle maintenance and costs
• advise customers on how to look after the vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance
• schedule appointments; contact customers with vehicle repair status updates/follow-ups
• accurately prepare repair orders and invoices

About you….

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in sales and customer handling, including:

• 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales/Customer Service Representative; automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
• Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
• proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
• proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems
• ability to sell vehicle maintenance
• ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
• strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
• strong attention to detail; organized and strategic
• ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
