Job summary

Canada Post is looking for Letter Carriers (Delivery Agents) to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta on a temporary, on-call basis. With 36 vacancies available, this is an opportunity to join one of Canada's most recognizable national institutions.

Responsibilities include sorting mail, loading and driving a postal vehicle, and delivering mail to homes and businesses. The position requires a valid driver's licence, ability to lift up to 50 lb and carry 35 lb, and reading/writing/speaking English

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's licence with a safe driving record for at least 3 years.
• Physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
• Ability to work in all types of weather
• Availability to be on-call
• Experience in customer service (asset)
• Experience making deliveries or working as a driver (asset)
